Background:

The Castle Partnership was formed in 2001 with the aim to deliver high quality professional advice to those who find themselves in trouble with the Police and Courts. The firm holds a contract with the Legal Services Commission to provide publicly funded representation to clients at the Police Station and Court.

Project Brief:

Our brief was to design a website in order to help build their brand and promote their services to the more private sector. They had a tight budget and needed to be able to easily update their website as and when they needed.

Our Approach:

Our approach was to look into a simple solution which was powerful enough for expansion and change. We opted to use WordPress as the main CMS engine as this was probably the best solution that would suit the clients needs.

After a working lunch with the client we tried to get to know them a bit better and discovered that they didn't fit the typical solicitor stereotype so we didn't want their website to be too corporate and formal. You could also tell that they were pretty close to their BlackBerry's so we again thought that using WordPress would suit them as it enables them to update their site from their mobile devices.

Results:

The final website is clean, bright and has a very approachable tone of voice. The use of local photography as a mast head brightened up the page and gave it an interesting focal point as the angle of the photo was quite unique.

The site is also converted when viewed on a mobile device allowing for faster downloads whilst the option to view the site in all it's glory is available.
