Background: 

Acasta Consulting provide confidential and independent consulting services to accountants, insolvency practitioners, banks and other financial institutions.

The practice is run by highly skilled chartered surveyors, with extensive experience and specialist knowledge in construction insolvency, property and development risk.

Project Brief: 

Acasta approached us to discuss a possible website for their consultancy company in 2009. They wanted something to showcase what services they provide, share reports and findings and provide up to date news for their clients. They wanted to add to the website regularly, so wanted a Content Manageable System (CMS) that was flexible and easy to use.

Our Approach: 

After taking the time to get to know the client we realised that, despite their image and reputation making them sound quite formal and corporate they were the opposite, and were quite adamant about wanting to give a different impression to what they do. Although the upmost professionals, they wanted to depict themselves as more relaxed and approachable, which we related to.

Results: 

After many discussions with the client we came to a conclusion they were after more of a blog than a traditional business website, so we decided to give them full control of their content by building the site around the Drupal CMS system, which offered complete flexibility and a professional platform for the client to work from. We designed the site to compliment the brand that they already had in place to give them brand strength and consistency.

The style of the site was very clean and minimal without being too corporative. The use of stylish photography with an interesting crop allowed us to break up the content and make things more interesting.
