We have the balls

My wife is pregnant with our second son and is blooming! Those of you who have had this amazing experience or are going through it will know that pregnant women are 'great'. My wife developed a heightened sense of smell which made her heave at the smell of most washing detergents and fabric softeners.

The wife embarked on a bit of a Google mission to find an alternative to her washing needs, she wanted something that was sensitive and smelled good. She discovered a product which I thought was a great little product that was worthy of being mentioned because of the great design, they are 'Ecoballs'.

The product costs about a tenner for a basic setup kit, which consists of the shell packaging and a load of these little balls that can only be described as bubble gum balls.

Now the idea is that you add these to your washing in every wash and you eliminate the need for expensive detergents and softners, we have had our balls for a few months now and they are saving us so much money. We have added some 'wife-approved' essential oils to the mix for nice smelling pants and socks.

Apparently you can get 150 washes from a single fill up of bubble-gum balls which is incredible really. So if you are like us and are always on the look out for intuitive, environmentally and wallet friendly products this one comes up high on my recommendation, grab life by the balls!
